Blended Learning:  EMERGENCY FIRST AID & CPR LEVEL C or HCP - $85.95

Firstly, order your online Blended Learning material, here.  Then, once you have registered and we have received payment, a unique login username and password will be sent to you via the email that you provided when you registered and it will come directly from the Canadian Red Cross (CRC), with "Action Required" in the subject line.  This will move you away from our website and onto the secure website of the Canadian Red Cross and will require that you set up a profile for yourself that will simplify the process the next time you return to recertify.  If you have registered over a weekend or public holiday, you will receive your login information with the next business day - if you haven't, please call us immediately at 905-272-9214 so that we can expedite the delivery of your course material.

The Blended Learning Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C  and HCP has eight (8) modules.  A short quiz will take you from one module to the next.  You'll need a minimum of 80% in the quiz to proceed to the next module.

Good to know:   You can take the quiz as many times as needed to achieve the 80%.

Once you have completed the online portion,  call us at 905-272-9214 or email us at - and set up a date and time for the practical session - provided you have not done so already.

Upon successful completion of the practical segment, your course will be processed by the instructor and an electronic-format certificate will be issued within 24-hours and again, it will come directly from the CRC.  If the course was completed on a Friday, the Weekend or Public Holiday, you will most likely receive your card within the next business day.  The [laminated] paper cards are no longer a standard issue, the only exception will be if you don't have email, then a bar-coded certificate will be mailed out to you.  Also, note,  that the Preliminary Certificate that you are prompted to print after you have completed the theory is not your certification.

Good to know:  Employers and training institutes are now able to validate your certificate through an easy online tool.

Please Note:   When booking the online program, please choose any date and time.  Our selected booking system isn't smart enough to distinguish the difference between online training vs in-classroom training -- yet.

One last thing:  There is no time frame to complete the theory, but we recommend that you complete it within have six (6) weeks after receiving the login information.

For 2019, consider Volunteering

Several studies have been done on the relationship between people’s physical and emotional health and the amount of time they spend on community service. One study reported that a full 94 percent of its subjects felt happier after volunteering. Another, from Carnegie Mellon, found that volunteering frequently was correlated with better cardiovascular health.
